x2 as I was checking out KB Voodoo terminal night and saw the rack that works woth the bed cover. Seems information technology's too low to operate a bi-fold but an MX4 or similar may work.

As far as ones that are produced, no I have not seen any that utilise the stack pockets to mount. But none the less, it can exist done, I take seen someone on here make their own, using the stakes. I was in the aforementioned boat I wanted a bed rack and exist able to still atleast proceed my roll upwardly bed cover on so I concluded upwardly making my own rack.

Thanks for the links to the Voodoo options. The crossbars are like to what I already have. But the Bed Rack may be what I'm looking for. 2 questions: Do you have whatsoever pictures with the eighteen" high bed rack installed? It appears like the 10" selection in all the pictures. I'chiliad curious how that looks in relation to the cab roof. Besides, is there whatsoever option to mount the Voodoo aluminum cargo basket with sliders to the bottom of the rack? Allowing functioning with a tonneau cover? The pictures look like the sliders are lesser mount merely. It'd be nice to have that slide out accessibility under the rooftop tent. While keeping other stuff dry below the tonneau encompass.

Hither is the 18" rack on an F150. Nobody ever sends us pics of the 18" rack....

At the moment there is no way to mount the basket to the underside of the rack.
Thank you for the motion picture. Sad for another question though. Is the spread of the two summit bars that run front to back adaptable? Or is that a fixed measurement between them? I'm trying to figure out if it brand sense to mount my RTT to the main cantankerous bars or those top bars. Also, is it possible to mountain any Yakima mounts to the crossbars? I have kayak saddles and am wondering if those could exist mounted to the Voodoo rack.

The spread of the summit bars is adjustable.
Ideally, the tent should residuum on the chief crossbars.

Yakima stuff will mount to the rack.
I'1000 getting close to ordering a bed rack for my tundra. I accept the Retrax tonneau cover and need to figure out how far forward I can go one of your brackets. I'm leaning towards the 18" tall version only wish someone had a picture on a Tundra. And do the tonneau brackets raise the measurement to something taller than 18"?

The tonneau brackets raise it approximately 2.5".
Is there a way to brand a bracket like this? I certainly don't need 2.5" to articulate the Retrax. And I don't desire the rack to exist twenty.v" loftier. I only demand minimal clearance for the thin metallic rail of the Retrax tonneau.

The tonneau brackets adjust from 2.5" to ane.75".
This is what our subclass associates looks like:
I sympathise how the bracket works. I'd just like the overall height to be 18". Wish at that place was a one slice subclass that allowed a 1/2" clearance for the tonneau. Y'all can see how low profile the Retrax is in the picture.
Is fabricating a bracket similar this a possibility?
Or fifty-fifty simpler....

nosotros already accept brackets that will work perfectly fine with your comprehend. Nosotros have tons of them in the field correct now with Retrax covers.
Agreed. Merely my issue is with the finished height of the rack. In order for my kayaks to clear the cab of the truck, I need the eighteen" high bed rack. I too use a roof acme tent in the summer. The rooftop tent on the xviii" bed rack just fits in the garage. With ane.75"-two.5" tonneau brackets, the rooftop tent won't fit in the garage.
Would your ten" bedrack system work with a Pace Edwards Ultragroove Metal retractable encompass?
